175 g. Butter unsalted and melted
50 g. Cocoa
300 g. Sugar granulated
4 Large eggs
10 g, Vanilla extract
275 g. Flour
5 g. Salt
For decoration
150 g. Chocolate Chips

Pre-heat your oven to 180C / 350F

In a clean bowl add the warm melted unsalted butter, the cocoa powder (sifted) and the granulated sugar. Whisk them well to incorporate all the ingredients.

Add the 4 large eggs, one at the time. Incorporate well after adding each egg.

Add the vanilla extract and whisk it for a few seconds.

Pour in the flour (sifted) and the salt. Whisk the ingredients well to properly incorporate the flour.

Place some oven paper into a square brownie pan 9" by 9" (22 cm by 22 cm), Leave some oven paper hanging outside the pan so as to allow easy removal of the brownie from the pan later.
Gently pour in the mix in the pan.

Decorate the mix using the chocolate chips then place the pan in the pre-heated oven.

Leave the brownies in the oven for about 30 minutes. After 15 minutes start checking the center of the brownies using a toothpick.
If you haven't reached the 30 minute mark but if the toothpick comes out without any mix attached to it, you can remove the pan from the oven.

Leave the brownies to cool down for about 30 minutes.
Using the oven paper, pull the brownies out of the pan and cut 16 squares (about 5cm x 5cm).
